Good afternoon KNDMS!
I wanted to introduce myself! My name is Gordon Lyng (Mr. G) and I am the new Athletic Director at KNDMS. This will be my 4th year at KNDMS and I am very excited for sports to be back for our students! I wanted to reach out about all things Fall Sports.
Next week, Boys Soccer and Girls Volleyball will have tryouts on:
Monday - August 23rd
Wednesday - August 25th
Thursday - August 26th
They will occur after school from 4:00 to 5:00 PM each day. Students should plan on being picked up at 5:00 PM as transportation is not provided. Boys soccer will be on the turf and girls volleyball will be in the gym.
After tryouts, practice for both teams will begin on Monday (August 30th) to give students/families more time to get physicals in / sign up on FamilyID.com / and pay the $25 dollar athletic fee.
On Tuesday (August 31), we will be holding a virtual “meet the coaches” night to discuss the season and answer any questions you may have. I will be sending out the link through the Flyer App closer to the date. It will be over zoom.
I will be sending another reminder shortly about how to register!

Buenas tardes KNDMS!
¡Queria presentarme! Mi nombre es Gordon Lyng (Sr. G) y soy el nuevo Director Atlético de KNDMS. ¡Este será mi cuarto año en KNDMS y estoy muy emocionado de que los deportes regresen para nuestros estudiantes! Quería hablar sobre todo lo relacionado con los deportes de otoño.
La semana que viene, Boys Soccer y Girls Volleyball tendrán pruebas en:
Lunes - 23 de agosto
Miércoles 25 de agosto
Jueves 26 de agosto
Ocurrirán después de la escuela de 4:00 a 5:00 PM todos los días. Los estudiantes deben planear que los recojan a las 5:00 PM ya que no se proporciona transporte. El fútbol masculino estará en el césped y el voleibol femenino en el gimnasio.
Después de las pruebas, la práctica para ambos equipos comenzará el lunes (30 de agosto) para darles a los estudiantes / familias más tiempo para hacerse los exámenes físicos / inscribirse en FamilyID.com / y pagar la tarifa atlética de $25 dólares.
El martes (31 de agosto), realizaremos una noche virtual de "conocer a los entrenadores" para discutir la temporada y responder cualquier pregunta que pueda tener. Enviaré el enlace a través de la aplicación Flyer más cerca de la fecha. Estará sobre el zoom.
