Dear KNDLA, 

 

Student safety and their well-being are our highest priorities at KIPP Colorado. KIPP Northeast Denver Leadership Academy was placed on Lockdown due to unintended activation of the duress button. Denver Public Schools Safety & Climate reported quickly to the campus and were able to release the Lockdown. 

 

Again, all students and staff are safe inside the building, and we are continuing learning as usual. 

 

We will notify you of any developments or updates, if necessary.
