Sharing the Passing of a KSPA Team & Family Member

Dear KDC Families,

It is with extreme sadness that we share the news of the passing of Lindsey P’Pool, KSPA Assistant Principal of Instruction. We know that many of your students came to us from KSPA and had Ms. P’Pool as a teacher and as a leader, as she has been a member of the KIPP Colorado community for over 10 years.

This is difficult and devastating news to hear, especially as we continue to process and grieve the passing of Mr. Cochrane. We will continue to pull together as a community to support one another and want to ensure that you all know before we share the news with your students.

Tomorrow, we will be sharing the news of Ms. P’Pool’s passing with students. We are working with Denver Public Schools and the regional team to ensure that we have the necessary resources to support your students as they learn of this news and begin to process and grieve.

Con gran tristeza compartimos la noticia del fallecimiento de Lindsey P'Pool, subdirectora de instrucción de KSPA. Sabemos que muchos de sus estudiantes asistieron KSPA y tuvieron a la Sra. P'Pool como maestra y líder, ya que fue miembro de la comunidad de KIPP Colorado durante más de 10 años.
