Dear KIPP Denver Collegiate Team & Family,

 

At KIPP Denver Collegiate, student safety is our highest priority. We are committed to keeping our community updated when situations arise that disrupt the safety and learning at campus, which we take extremely seriously and address immediately. 

 

I am writing to inform you about an incident involving a physical altercation between KIPP students in the afternoon today. Our staff were quickly able to de-escalate the situation and all students are safe. We are investigating the entirety of the situation and will take disciplinary action per our Family Handbook. The students found to have been involved will receive consequences consistent with the DPS Discipline Matrix. 

 

We greatly appreciate the continued trust in our team and the support for our work to ensure that our students are on the path to a choice-filled life.
