Good morning Elevate HS Community,
If you do not know me my name is AJ Thompson I am the athletics and activities director here at DSST: Elevate HS. With that being said this message is to update you on the outlook of clubs for the school year as we know this has been a big question for our scholars and families. I'm here to announce that clubs will be kicking off the week of 10/9 before we go on Fall break. With that being said below this message is some information regarding what clubs we have to offer this school year and future club offerings we will have for scholars coming in the spring semester. We are hosting our first annual club fair on campus after school Monday 10/2 from 3:55pm-4:20pm, in order for scholars to learn about the offerings and register for their desired club of choice. Please encourage your scholar to attend the club fair if they are interested in being apart of a club this school year, as it is mandatory to attend this fair in order to register for a club. If your scholar has Mandatory Tutoring this day they are to attend tutoring after school as tutoring overrides any after school event. It is up to your scholar to come and see me before Friday, 10/6 to register if they missed the fair as that is the deadline to register for clubs for the Fall semester! DSST Elevate Annual Club Fair:
When: Monday, 10/2
Where: DSST Elevate HS Café
What: DSST Annual club fair is where students will come to learn about our offerings and register for their club of choice
Time: 3:55pm-4:20pm
*This event is Mandatory if you want to sign up for a club this year... If your scholar cannot make this fair it is their responsibility to find time to come get registered with Thompson before end of day Friday 10/6!
