Girls JV Volleyball Official Tryouts 8/8 & 8/9

Goodmorning Elevate Community & Family Members, 

Just wanted to take some time this morning to inform you and your scholar(s) of the opportunity we are providing for Elevate HS girls to tryout for our girls JV volleyball team. Tryouts will take place next week at Elevate campus Gymnasium. More information about girls volleyball tryouts can be found below this message this tryout will happen over the course of two days so we can fully evaluate all the athletes and give coaches enough time to decide who will make our final roster. Keep in mind tryouts are mandatory if you have a scholar interested in playing for the team as  Unfortunately, we will be making cuts this year for our final roster as we will only allow 15 girls total. We currently only have the space/enough coaches to offer a team at one level (JV), once CHSAA certified we will offer 3 levels (C-team, JV, Varsity). If your scholar makes the final roster cut they will be required to attend our pre-season skills camp the following day after the 2nd tryouts take place. We are doing the preseason camp with the official team in order to introduce what our practice structure will be for the season, pick uniform numbers, work on introducing basic skills. Additional information and communication around the team will be shared with you through reachwell as we move through the start of the season. 

Elevate Girls VB Tryouts Details:  
What: Elevate HS JV Girls Volleyball Tryouts 
When: Tuesday, August 8th & Wed, August 9th (Both Days!!!)
Where: DSST Elevate Gymnasium 
Time: 4:30pm-6:30pm 

Preseason Skills Camp: Thursday, August 10th (Only if your scholar makes the final roster cut) 
Where: DSST Elevate Gymnasium 
Time: 4:30-6:30pm 

*Tryouts are open to all DSST Elevate HS Students 9th-11th grade!
