Basketball Open Gym & Future Timeline

Good afternoon Elevate Community, 

This message is to inform you all about the upcoming schedule for the start of boys and girls basketball this week and for the upcoming weeks leading into winter break! Yesterday we held our annual winter sports meeting where student-athletes received all of the logistical information for both the boys and girls basketball team. In this meeting we discussed student-athlete expectations, open gym and tryouts schedule, and other logistics that are relevant to basketball season.  We also handled registration for their sport of choice at this meeting as well, please assist your students with the registration forms as they WILL NOT be granted permission to attend open gym or tryouts unless they are registered to do so. Registration forms are virtual and can be found in their student emails with a subject line of "sports registration forms". We suggest that you take the time to review all the information presented in yesterday's meeting to them and feel free to reach out to athletic director Aj Thompson via email with any further questions or concerns. Below is the timeline for upcoming events revolving girls and boys basketball please expect your athlete to be here for these upcoming school events: 

Girls & Boys HS Basketball Open Gym: 12/1 & 12/2 & 12/6
Time: 3:45pm- 5:00pm
Location: DSST Elevate Gym 

Official Tryouts: 12/12 (Girls) 12/13 (Boys) 
Time: 3:45pm-5pm 
Location: DSST Elevate Gym
