Healthy Meals for All
District 6 is participating in the Healthy School Meals for All program; all students will receive free breakfast and lunch this school year. Even though meals are free, every family should complete the School Benefits Application. Completing the application may qualify your family for reduced or waived school fees and help District 6 receive important state and federal funding.

Enrichment Enrollment for Elementary K-5 Students (Before & After School Care)
Enrollment for Enrichment 2026-2027 before school, after school, and Friday care is open. Please fill out an enrollment packet for each student you want to attend. If you have questions, please email enrichment@frontieracademy.net or visit the Enrichment web page on Frontier Academy's site.

Students may wear either a solid collared shirt in navy, red, or white, or Frontier Academy spirit wear in clean and good condition. Spirit wear may include a T-shirt, long-sleeved shirt, hoodie, or sweatshirt.
This is the only change to the dress code. For more information, please check out our Parent/Student Handbook; the dress code requirements start on page 9.

We are excited to welcome our families to Back to School Night!
To help provide a more personalized experience and reduce crowding, we recommend attending during the time slot assigned by your student's last name. This will allow teachers to spend more intentional time with each family.

If you would like to bring your student's school supplies, you are welcome to take them directly to the classroom during your visit.

Frontier Academy K-5 Elementary 1st Day of School
August 10, 2026: First bell rings at 7:40-3:25
Kindergarten will start at 10:00 am on August 10th; all other grades will start at 7:40.
| π± Cell Phones & Electronic Devices Reminder
To help students stay focused on learning, cell phones, smartwatches, and other electronic devices should only be used before and after school.
During the school day (7:20 a.m. β 4:00 p.m.), all electronic devices should be turned off or silenced and kept in your student's backpack.
If a device is seen or heard during the school day, it will be collected by a staff member and held in the school office. A parent or guardian will need to pick up the device from the office.
Please note: -
Electronic device use during extracurricular activities is determined by the coach or activity sponsor.
- Frontier Academy is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged electronic devices. We encourage families to leave valuable devices at home whenever possible.
- Recording devices may only be used if a student has a documented accommodation outlined in a formal written plan.

Frontier Elementary is excited to offer a String Club for students in 3rdβ5th grade who are interested in learning to play the violin!
Registration was first offered to families who completed the interest survey, and we have one spot remaining!

Secondary Back-to-School Events
Wednesday, August 5 β Back-to-School Night
3:00β4:00 PM | 6th Grade Families Only
To help our newest middle school students feel confident and prepared, we ask that only 6th grade families attend during the first hour of Back-to-School Night. This dedicated time allows students to become familiar with the building, practice opening their lockers, and meet their teachers before the event opens to all secondary students.
4:00β6:00 PM | All Secondary Grades Back-to-School Night is open to all students and families in grades 6β12.
Back-to-School Night Checklist Complete Before August 5 Please Note: ReachWell recently made some updates, and the Resources section is currently unavailable. Once it is working again, the Off-Campus Permission Form will be added back to the app.
Available Before August 5 Required on August 5 - Get your School picture/ID taken
- Pick up your school-issued Chromebook: Chromebook agreement form
must be completed before pickup
Please Note: Students in 6th and 9th grades will receive their school picture/ID and pick up their Chromebook on their first day of school, Friday, August 7. These students do not need to wait in the picture or Chromebook pickup lines during Back-to-School Night.

Building Hours - The school building opens at 7:00 AM.

Student-Athletes and parents, SAVE THE DATE
for a special presentation from Chad McGehee, a meditation and mental performance educator, scientific collaborator, and trusted coach. At the University of Wisconsin Athletic Department, Chad became the first ever Director of Meditation Training in major college sports, and I am excited for him to work with our athletic programs this year. You wonβt want to miss this presentation!

REMINDER: MS/HS Volleyball Camp will be from 6:30-8:30 pm tonight!
HS Golf started Monday, August 3rd. The rest of MS/HS Fall Sports will begin August 10th! Make sure your student-athlete has a current physical; otherwise, they will not be able to participate in tryouts, which could impact them making the team.

To help keep our students safe and traffic moving efficiently, please follow these procedures at all times.
Pickup & Drop-Off Rules - Use the curbside lane only for loading and unloading students.
- Pull forward as far as possible before stopping. Fill all available spaces to reduce traffic backups.
- Keep the inside (left) lane open at all times. This is a through lane only. Do not stop or wait in this lane.
- Do not stop, park, or wait in the designated No Vehicle Zone.
- Students should enter and exit vehicles from the passenger side whenever possible, directly onto the sidewalk.
- Remain with your vehicle. If you need to leave your vehicle, please park in a designated parking space.

Follow all traffic signs, pavement markings, and staff directions.
- Only pass on the left when it's safe or instructed by a crossing guard.
- Drive slowly and watch carefully for students, staff, and crossing pedestrians.
- Have students ready to exit or enter the vehicle promptly to keep traffic moving.
