With the last week of school full of fun activities and schedule changes, the final day for lunch visitations will be Thursday, May 14, 2025.

Elementary K-5 Students' last day of school is May 21st! Students are dismissed at 12:00. No school lunch is served on this day.
Have a wonderful summer break! ๐ | ALL BOOKS ARE DUE by Thursday, May 14!
Library Notices will be sent home with students detailing any missing books. While we do not charge late fees for overdue items, a $10 fee will be applied for books that are lost or returned damaged. Payments may be made by check or online.

Field Day: May 19th
Students are allowed to dress down for field day.
๐Field Day Visitors
Parents are welcome to join us for Field Day and spend the day with their child(ren). Feel free to visit at any time except during lunchtime (10:50-12:45), when visitors are kindly asked to vacate the campus.
For your convenience, porta-potties will be available outside, as visitors and volunteers will have access to the building in certain areas. The gym, 3rd-grade hallway, and auditorium serve as an extension of our outdoor common space during field day, allowing parents to watch their child(ren) participate in the day's activities. To help guide visitors, there will be barriers set up so there is a clear division between where visitors are allowed and where they are not allowed. Thank you for your support and involvement in making Field Day a memorable experience for our students.
๐Volunteer & Visitor Rules
All volunteers will need to check in and receive a Raptor ID badge on Field Day before heading to their assigned station. Visitors are welcome to spectate outside and in designated inside areas only. Porta Potties will be provided.
Absolutely no video or photography is permitted. You may take photos of only your child. No weapons (guns, knives, pepper spray) No tobacco/alcohol/drugs (vape pens, chewing tobacco, cigarettes) No pets Small bags may be permitted and will be checked upon entry
๐Checking Student(s) Out
If you need to sign out your child during school hours, please do so directly with their classroom teacher. The teacher will maintain a sign-out roster to ensure the safety of all students. Please note that parents will only be permitted to pick up their child in this manner.
If you need to sign out any children who are not your own, we kindly ask that you do so through the front office. This helps us maintain accurate records and ensure the well-being of all students. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our school environment safe and secure.

For overflow parking, please park in the Guardian storage lot or the old K-Mart parking lot east of Guardian storage. Do not park in Guardian-designated parking. Do not park in the hotel parking lots. Do not park in the High Plains parking lot

On Thursday, our high school seniors will be participating in a dress rehearsal at the elementary campus. Due to space limitations, the elementary campus will not be able to accommodate parent visitors for the Senior Walk on Thursday, May 14, 2026.

As we approach the last day of school, please remember that the dress code remains the same as every other school day. This includes:
No hats No pajama pants Shorts and skirts must be mid-thigh length All other regular dress code guidelines apply (Please see the graphics for additional details.)
Behavior expectations also remain the same as a normal school day.
The good news is that students can still have a fun, exciting, and memorable last day while staying within dress code expectations!
Please note: If a student arrives out of dress code or there are significant behavior concerns, parents/guardians may be contacted to pick up their student for the remainder of the day. Students will wait in the front office until they are picked up.

If you have completed coursework through Aims Community College while in high school, please read the following carefully.
To receive credit for your Aims courses at your next college or university, you must request that an official Aims transcript be sent directly to that institution. If you are currently enrolled in an Aims course for the spring semester, please wait until June to submit your request. If you are not currently enrolled, you may complete this process at any time.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! We are proud of your accomplishments and wish you all the best as you begin this exciting new chapter.
We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to Katy Notestine
for her dedicated leadership and service as Board President over the past three years. Katy will be stepping off the Executive Committee next month, and we thank her for the positive impact she has made on our school community.
Please join us in welcoming Bianca Fisher as the incoming Board President and Jimmy Kohles
as the incoming Board Vice President. We look forward to their leadership and continued commitment to our students and families.
Additionally, thank you to Eric Reinsvold for his service as the OPT representative for seven years. Eric will be transitioning into a regular Board member role, and we will begin seeking a new elementary OPT representative.
Anyone interested should contact the Elementary OPT President via email. Responsibilities include attending the monthly Executive Committee and Elementary OPT meetings, as well as providing updates and communication between both boards.
