Attention Current 5th Grade Families

Greetings 5th Grade Parents/Guardians,

As we prepare to welcome your student to 6th grade at Frontier Academy Secondary for the 2026–2027 school year, we have begun building student schedules.

On Wednesday, April 29, students visited our secondary music classes and learned about their three options for middle school: Choir, Band, and Orchestra.

Please take a few minutes to talk with your student about their preferences and submit their top two choices using the Google Form linked below.

Action Required:
Please complete the form as soon as possible. Course selections will be added to student schedules as responses are received, and space in music classes is limited. If a student’s first choice is full, they will be placed in their second choice.

Incoming 6th Grade Open House & Music Orientation

We invite all 5th-grade families to attend an open house to explore the secondary campus:

Date: May 7, 2026
Time: Drop in anytime between 4:00–6:00 PM
Location: Frontier Academy Secondary Building
(6530 W. 16th Street, Greeley, CO 80634)

During the event, families can:

Visit informational tables and speak with staff
Tour the middle school hallway and 6th-grade classrooms
Participate in music orientation for their selected class

Students who choose Band or Orchestra will also have the opportunity to complete instrument placement that evening.
