K-5 News
📌 Elementary Back to School Night: August 1
Time: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Please bring your school supplies to Back to School Night!
We ask that families attend Back to School Night at the slotted times based on the first letter of your student's last name. Each time slot will have the same presentation, and we must start and end on time. If you are a few minutes late, you can receive the information you missed at the beginning of the next session.
The purpose of this is to accommodate parking and to allow our teachers to have more individual time with each family.
Time Slots:
A-E: 4:00 - 4:30 PM
F-K: 4:30 - 5:00 PM
L-P: 5:00 - 5:30 PM
Q-Z: 5:30 - 6:00 PM
If this time slot does not work for your family, it's okay to attend at a different time. We also recognize that some families have multiple children and will need to be on campus for a longer period of time.
To enter the building, please go through the gate between buildings and enter through the student doors located behind K-3 or the west side of the 4-5 building.
📌 1st Day of School: August 5
🚨 Kindergarten students ONLY will start at 10 am on August 5th.🚨
This allows staff to help support kindergartener's transition on the first day of school.
Volunteer Orientation Announcement
Date: August 20th
Time: 8:00 AM
Location: K-3 Campus
We are excited to announce our first volunteer orientation on August 20th at 8:00 AM at the K-3 campus.
Afterward, orientations will be held weekly every Tuesday morning at the same time and location.
For those who prefer evening sessions, we will offer training once a month during our elementary OPT meetings.
Volunteering Start Date: September 3rd
Lunch-Time Visitation Start Date: August 19th

Enrollment for Fall 2024-2025 Enrichment is now open on Brightwheel.
Enrichment sessions will commence on August 5th, with morning hours from 6:30 AM to 7:20 AM, and afternoon hours from 3:50 PM (after driveline ends) to 6:00 PM. On Fridays, we operate all day from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
Attached to this email is the monthly billing sheet. To enroll, please visit our website, click on the enrichment tab, and follow the link to Brightwheel.
📌 Secondary Back to School Night: July 31
🕓 4-6 pm
On this night, families and students will have the opportunity to meet their teachers and find their lockers.
Please do not bring school supplies to back-to-school night, instead please wait until the designated dates on the school supply lists.
This will be an open house event.
Families can come anytime between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm.
📌 6th & 9th Grade Welcome: Aug 2
6th grade: 7:20 am-12:30 pm
We ask that students do not bring any school supplies on this day.
Please follow the school supply list to see which days we are asking students to bring supplies.
We will provide students with walking tacos for lunch. Please bring a water bottle.
9th grade: 9:00-11:30 am
Students will start their day in the auditorium, please drop off your students at the east gym entrance of the school.
We ask that students do not bring any school supplies on this day.
Please follow the school supply list to see when we ask students to bring supplies.

🍎 Frontier Academy Nutritional Services 🍎
Frontier Academy partners with District 6 for our nutritional services and serves breakfast and lunch for all students.

A Message from Security:
Cross Country Peach Fundraiser
The Frontier Academy cross-country team is selling 22-pound boxes of Western Slope peaches (Talbott's Farms) to raise funds for our team.
By signing up here, you agree to purchase the boxes on or around August 19 for $44 per box.
No funds are due now; it will only be available upon pick up. Peaches must be picked up and paid for on that day with cash or check as we won't have a place to store them.
We will be reserving 2 pallets now but if we have enough people on the waitlist, we will add a third pallet. Thank you so much for supporting our team!

🏀 Frontier Academy Girls Basketball Camps 🏀
What: An interactive skills camp facilitated by the Frontier Academy High School Girls Basketball Team.
The girls basketball team will teach your child the fundamentals of basketball in a fun, interactive, and constructive manner.
When: Session 2: August 10th from 10 AM -12 PM
Who: Kindergarteners to incoming 8th graders (ages 5-14)Cost: $30 per camp ($55 if registered for both camps)
Includes a camp T-shirt and daily snack!
Register by July 20th for Session 2
**Day of camp or late registration cost is $40
To register – Complete and submit form below with a $30 (or $55 for both camps) check (payable to Frontier Academy w/Girls Basketball Camp in the memo line) to Frontier Academy High School – summer office hours are Mon-Thurs 8am – 4pm.Register by July 20, 2024 respectively.
