Good Afternoon D6 Middle School Families, 

My name is Russell Tupper and I am the Athletic Director and one of the Assistant Principals at Tointon Academy of Pre-Engineering. I wanted to invite your incoming 6th, 7th, or 8th grader to join the Tointon D6 swimming and diving team for the 2024-2025 season. The head coach for the swim team will be Kaila Saxton.As with all D6 sports, athletes must be enrolled in a D6 school for the 2024-2025 school year and an active physical must be on file before your athlete can participate. You can go to your primary care doctor to receive a physical or there will be a free sports physical opportunity at the District 6 School Kickoff Community Celebration at Island Grove on August 3, 2024 from 9am to 12pm. 

Swimming practice will begin on Monday, August 12, 2024 at the Centennial Outdoor Pool as the Greeley Rec Center locker rooms are being renovated. The hope is that we can return to the Greeley Rec Center starting Tuesday, September 10th pending remodeling delay. Practice is tentatively scheduled to begin at 4:30 PM at the Centennial Pool. Transportation will only be provided to swim meets and not to or from swim practices. 

If you are interested in joining the Tointon D6 swim team, please email Russell Tupper, rtupper@greeleyschools.org so you can receive additional swimming information regarding practice times, registration information, and notification when a parent meeting. The parent meeting and registration will occur in August.

We have been getting all the things ready for a fantastic season ahead! The best way to get in shape and ready to “jump in” to the fall season would be to join a summer swim team or get swim lessons over the summer. You don’t need to be a member at these pools to join their swim teams…
