The elementary staff extends our heartfelt gratitude to OPT and all the parents who generously supported us throughout the school year.
Your contributions made a significant impact, allowing us to enjoy monthly mailbox treats, delightful activities, and meals during Staff Appreciation Week, the innovative Sunshine Cart and Giving Tree themes, and the much-appreciated coffee truck visits.
Your kindness and support have brightened our days and fueled our dedication to providing the best education for our students.

Summer Tutoring
Here is a list of current members of our school community who are interested in doing one-on-one tutoring this summer.
Please contact them directly to schedule.
Most tutoring takes place at school, and the cost is $20/half hour and $30/hour paid directly to the individual.
Summer Drama Camp
This summer drama will be offering a summer drama camp for students going into 5th and 6th grade.
The camp will be held in the Elementary Garden Theater from June 24th through June 29th.

Thursday, May 23:
Last day of school, students are dismissed at 12:30 😎

As we begin wrapping up this school year, we wanted to remind you that Thursday, May 23rd will have a completely different schedule aimed at returning Chromebooks and cleanup. School will close at 12:30. Should you need to pick your child up early or if they will be absent, simply call Mrs. Anderson at 970-339-9153.
7:30 am -12:30 pm - Students will have time designated for Chromebook collection, yearbook pickup/signing as well as time outside playing games, so bring sunscreen and water! Lunch will NOT be provided.
Be sure your child brings their school-issued Chromebook to school. Over the summer, we will perform maintenance and updates. This will be returned to your child during registration at the end of July.
Keep the Chromebook charger in a safe place at home* over the summer so it is ready to go once the computer is returned to your student during registration in July. If you don’t bring it to school on August 5th, 2024, you will need to be prepared to purchase a charger. All school Chromebooks use a Chromebook USB C-type charger (65W). *IF your student will not be returning to Frontier next school year, please return the charger along with the Chromebook.
BACKUP CHROMEBOOK COLLECTION DAY- Friday, May 24th: 10:00 am-12:00 pm - We will collect any remaining Chromebooks that were not brought back on Thursday. This will be an outdoor/drive-up station and will move indoors if weather conditions are poor.
July 23-24:
When families return to school to get lockers, and class schedules, and pay fees, we will return the student’s device to them. We ask families to provide a simple protective sleeve or case for the Chromebook, to minimize the chances of accidental damage.

Girls Basketball
Join us for an opportunity to play and learn basketball together!
Practice is FREE for all Frontier Academy students.

🕔 Monday & Wednesdays from 5:00-6:30 (Kindergarten-5th Grade Students)
No Practice for K-5 on May 22nd due to field day.
🕡 Monday & Wednesday 6:30-8:00 (6th Grade-12th Grade Students)

Open gym will end May 26th. Camp opportunities are available.

🏀 Frontier Academy Girls Basketball Camps 🏀
June and August 2024
What: An interactive skills camp facilitated by the Frontier Academy High School Girls Basketball Team.
The girls basketball team will teach your child the fundamentals of basketball in a fun, interactive, and constructive manner.
When: Session 1: June 29th from 10-12 PMSession 2: August 10th from 10-12 PM
Who: Kindergarteners to incoming 8th graders (ages 5-14)Cost: $30 per camp ($55 if registered for both camps)
Includes a camp T-shirt and daily snack!
Register by June 8th for Session 1
Register by July 20th for Session 2
**Day of camp or late registration cost is $40
To register – Complete and submit form below with a $30 (or $55 for both camps) check (payable to Frontier Academy w/Girls Basketball Camp in the memo line) to Frontier Academy High School – summer office hours are Mon-Thurs 8am – 4pm.Register by June 8 or July 20, 2024 respectively.

It's that time of year at the Secondary School where we start working on enrollment for the next school year.
If your student(s) are planning to return to Frontier for the 24-25 school year we will just roll them forward to the next grade and you DO NOT need to do anything. 😃
If your student(s) ARE NOT PLANNING TO RETURN to Frontier for the 24-25 school year we need parents/guardians to click the link below and fill out the Google form so we can make sure to get records transferred accordingly and timely for registration at new schools.
