Field Day Communication

Students are allowed to dress down for field day. Be sure your student wears their field day t-shirt - and have them bring a permanent marker to get their shirt signed by their classmates and teachers!

Field Day Volunteers

We are excited about our upcoming Field Day and greatly appreciate your willingness to volunteer. Before joining us, please ensure you complete the volunteer orientation, which is a requirement each school year. If you haven't done so yet, another training session is scheduled for this Wednesday at 8 am. Please bring a valid ID to the training. If you have any questions about orientation, please contact, Kay Thompson at thompsonk@frontieracademy.net.

As a token of our gratitude, our OPT will be providing lunch for all volunteers.

Additionally, please note that all volunteer requests for Field Day must be submitted by May 16th. This deadline allows us to effectively plan and organize for the event.

Please bring a valid ID to the K-3 front office before May 21st at 2:30 to be vetted by our Raptor system. All volunteers must be vetted.

Field Day Visitors

Parents are welcome to join us for Field Day and spend the day with their child(ren). Feel free to visit at any time except during lunchtime (10:50-12:45), when visitors are kindly asked to vacate the campus.

For your convenience, porta potties will be available outside, as visitors won't have access to the building. Additionally, the gym, 3rd-grade hallway, and auditorium serve as an extension of our outdoor common space during field day, allowing parents to watch their child(ren) participate in the day's activities. To help guide visitors there will be barriers set up so there is a clear division on where visitors are allowed and where they are not allowed. Thank you for your support and involvement in making Field Day a memorable experience for our students.

Volunteer & Visitor Rules

  • All volunteers will need to check in and receive a Raptor ID badge on Field Day before heading to their assigned station.

  • Visitors are welcome to spectate outside and designated inside areas only.

  • No indoor restrooms.  Porta Potties will be provided.

  • Absolutely no video or photography permitted.  You may take photos of only your child.

  • No weapons (guns, knives, pepper spray)

Checking Student(s) Out

If you need to sign out your child during school hours, please do so directly with their classroom teacher. The teacher will maintain a sign-out roster to ensure the safety of all students. Please note that parents will only be permitted to pick up their own child in this manner.

If you need to sign out any children who are not your own, we kindly ask that you do so through the front office. This helps us maintain accurate records and ensure the well-being of all students. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our school environment safe and secure.
