High School Final Exam Schedule for May 2024
We know the end of the school year can be hectic, especially when all the big tests pile up at once.
To make it easier for you and your child, the teachers have come up with a schedule for high school final exams in May 2024.
The aim is to spread out the exams over four days, so it's not too overwhelming.

Regular classes for Blocks 5 & 6
Monday, May 20:

Tuesday, May 21:

Wednesday, May 22:

Thursday, May 23:
Last day of school, students dismissed at 12:30
📌 What about classes with tests that take more than one day?
Teachers will handle those separately, giving the test over a couple of days before the official finals schedule. On the scheduled final day, they'll give students other meaningful activities and assignments. For instance, if there's an essay to be done, students might turn it in early and then give a related presentation during the scheduled final.
What will teachers do on the "normal" days during the finals schedule?
They'll use the time to review and prepare for the test, offer extra time or makeup opportunities after the test, and do engaging activities related to the subject. They might also introduce topics from future courses or explore career options in the field.
📌 What about the seniors?
Seniors will have their tests during the second to last week, just like usual.
📌And what about classes with both seniors and underclassmen?
It's up to the teacher. They might have everyone take the final together and keep the underclassmen occupied during the finals schedule, or they might arrange for seniors to take the final early and underclassmen to take it during the scheduled finals.
