Dear Frontier Academy Community,
At approximately 6:58 this morning, Frontier Academy Secondary was sent into lockdown by our automated security system. Some students and staff were already in the building, and students were continuing to enter. The building was immediately put into a lock down mode and all students in the school were secure within moments. Our administration and security officer responded quickly to determine there was not a threat and quickly released all students by 7:08. I want to thank the students and staff for their responsiveness and professionalism during these moments. We are investigating what caused this lock down related to a human error or technical malfunction. At no time was there a security or safety risk to staff or students, but we will always respond cautiously in these circumstances. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me directly.
