Secondary-It's EWeek Time Again!

Date: Oct 16, 17, 18 and 19th.

Here are the details:

EWeek (Elective Week) is when high school students pause their regular classes for 4 days.

EWeek is required for ALL 9th and 10th-grade students.

It is optional for 11th and 12th grade.

More information can be found on:

Frontier's  EWeek Webpage

Discuss the course options with your student.

PLEASE pay special attention to which classes involve field trips away from school, as there may be conflicts with extracurricular games, events, or practices.

For example, some classes include all-day long field trips and non-standard meeting locations.

Students are expected to attend ALL portions of the EWeek class.

EWeek signup is online.

On September 25th, we will open an ONLINE lottery system, to remain open for 5 days, assigning students to their top choice of EWeek class, as it is available.

Sign-up CLOSES at 11:59 pm

 on Saturday, September 30th!

This is not first-come, first-served.

Instead, it is based on student choice and a lottery draw for each class.

Signing up for the same class more than once  will not help to get first choice.

In fact, it reduces the chances of getting the desired class.

If you have any questions, please contact  Mrs. Schmidt.

Dear Frontier Academy Community,

We are excited to announce that we will be recognizing a collection of history and heritage months during the school year. These months are intended to celebrate and learn about the contributions of different communities to our country and our world. At Frontier Academy, we are committed to elevating the stories of these movements and the voices of those involved. We intend to communicate these celebrations over email, by creating educational bulletin boards and including information in short announcements in order to empower the Frontier Academy community.

September 15-October 15 is Hispanic Heritage Month which is dedicated to celebrating the many achievements and contributions of the Latino community as well as their diverse cultures. Middle School and High School LULAC have been hard at work creating posters and artwork to elevate these voices and figures.

Please watch the announcements for upcoming LULAC events.
